چکیده

In this paper, we attempt a systematic study of QL-implications. Towards this end, firstly, we investigate the conditions under which a QL-operation becomes a fuzzy implication without imposing any conditions on the underlying operations. Following this, we discuss the conditions underwhich this family satisfies some desirable algebraic properties. Based on the obtained results and existing characterization results, the intersections between QL-implications and the two most established families of fuzzy implications, viz., (S,N)and R-implications are determined. It is shown that QL-implications contain the set of all R-implications obtained from left-continuous t-norms that are also (S,N)-implications. Finally, the overlaps between QL-implications and the recently proposed fand g-implications are also studied. © 2008 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved. MSC: 03B52; 03E72; 39B99

Intersections Between Basic Families of Fuzzy Implications: (S, N)-, R- and QL-Implications

In this work, our primary focus is to determine the intersections that exist between the family of QL-implications and the families of (S, N)and R-implications. Toward this end, firstly, we investigate the conditions under which a QL-operation becomes a fuzzy implication. Since the exchange principle and the ordering property of fuzzy implications play an important role in this study, we propos...

QL-implications on a finite chain

This paper deals with a kind of implications defined from t-norms, t-conorms and strong negations on a finite chain, through the expression I(x,y) = S(N(x),T (x,y)), and called QL-implications. We mainly study those QL-implications derived from smooth t-norms and t-conorms. It is characterized when functions defined in this way are implication functions, and their analytical expression is given...

On the First Place Antitonicity in QL-implications

In order to obtain a demanded fuzzy implication, a number of properties have been proposed, among which the first place antitonicity, the second place monotonicity and the boundary conditions are the most important ones. The three classes of fuzzy implications derived from the implication in binary logic, S-, Rand QL-implications all satisfy the second place monotonicity and the boundary condit...

Properties of the survival implications and S-implications

Recently, Grzegorzewski [9] introduced two new families of fuzzy implication functions called survival implications and survival S-implications. These two classes of multivalued implications are based on conditional copulas. In the same article the author gave a motivation to his ideas and he analyzed some properties of these classes of fuzzy implications. In this paper the laws of contrapositi...

A new family of (A, N)-implications: Construction and properties

This paper deals with a new family of (A, N)-implications that derived from fuzzy negation and continuous monotone function, and some properties, like the left neutrally, the exchange principle, the ordering property and the laws of contraposition, of the proposed family of (A, N)-implications are studied. Moreover, the T-conditionality and the Modus tollens for the new family of (A, N)-i...
